Cedar Pet Supply is Hiring an Animal Care Tech Near Cedar, UT

Cedar Pet Supply is looking for enthusiastic, high energy, Animal care tech to help us care and maintain a variety of pets available in our jungle.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional care and attention to the health and welfare of all animals in our store.
- Assist our kennel manager with routine check-ups, vaccinations, and medical treatments.
- Monitor and assess the health of animals on a daily basis, promptly reporting any concerns to the kennel manager.
- Perform grooming and hygiene routines for various pets, including bathing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of animal enclosures and habitats.
- Offer friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering inquiries about pet health, nutrition, and general care.
- Educate customers about responsible pet ownership and promote the adoption of pets.
- Collaborate with the pet store team to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both animals and customers.
On the job training is provided for the right candidate. Experience with reptiles, fish, small animals or having a vet assistant or vet tech certificate is a plus.
We are currently looking for full time pet care associates. Candidates must have open availability which includes the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
